HOMEMADE TURMERIC TEA

Using Turmeric it to begin your mornings(after your water therapyđ) with hot water as your morning tea even when rushing out,is an amazing healthy experience. You can add a dash of honey if you can't take it alone. You can combine turmeric with Ginger if you wish or have it alone. The picture above shows turmeric with a little ginger and then honey, but my focus here is on just turmeric tea, i would do another another blog post on ginger, but would also show you here how i combine the two (my mother's recipeđđ¤)... You can change your morning tea games to these homemade natural combo. You would loveee it...
So lets get teaingggg...hahahaaaa


PREPARATIONS
- 3 Turmeric tubers like the size of the one in the picture below( note: not the one above).
- wash thoroughly and peal of the back.
- With a Blender
- If you are using a blender dice the turmeric into the blender and then add a very tiny water or non at all. Blend till its finely blended then transfer to a cup add in your boiled water.
- Leave for about 1-2 mins.
- In a filter or net like cloth, place on top a cup or a container, pour your mixture and squeeze or filter out the water from the chaff.
- And then add a little honey to sweeten things up if you want, and then enjoy.
With a sieve or net like cloth
- If you are using a grater use the smaller side and grate till its finished, then in a cup add all the turmeric and a hot boiled water, leave for about 1-2 mins.

- In a filter or net like cloth, place on top a cup or a container, pour your mixture and squeeze or filter out the water from the chaff.
- And then add a little honey to sweeten things up if you want and enjoy.
If you decide to add a hint of ginger, its just the same thing you do to turmeric, you do to ginger too. You can do this all together.
This may all look like a tedious thing to do always, truth is, its not when you get used to it. But just in case you don't, lolzzz...let me give you some tips.
- You can make use of the filtered turmeric twice a day, morning and evening
- All you need to do is add hot water and filter.
- Another tip is, you could make a large amount, meaning more turmeric and more boiled water, like up to a bottle and refrigerate. The next time you want to take it, you could just simmer on heat for 1 minute. Its also very possible for you to take it warm or cold, its still a nice experience too.
So whichever way you choose to enjoy this, just experience the beauty of nature through this wonderful plant called TURMERIC.
